The rest of The Breaking Wind and I went back in the studio to record our second Album. Things are working out pretty good and I can't wait to get back into the studio to finish it off. Good things take time.  With the vocal tracks complete we'll be finishing up the mixing at the end of March.  If things go well, and the mastering is finished soon after that, we will move the album into production and manufacture.  Right now we're on schedule, or off schedule depending on how you look at it, to release the album sometime in June of this year.

The band has tracked six more songs and is now just finishing up the vocals.  If everything goes well our first album should be ready for release sometime in June 2009.  The recordings sound great and we haven't even mixed and mastered these final six songs yet.  When we do complete the album we'll want to organize some release parties.  If you are interested in hosting a release party, just let us know.  We would appreciate any and all support we can get!

Hey this is Ryan, the bassist from The Breaking Wind. This summer the band travelled to Toronto to record four songs at Meta Works. The songs that we recorded are, Changing Me, Red House, Be There and Where I Belong. We all had a great time in the studio. We were there for a total of 8 days near the end of August, 2008. We can't wait to get back to the studio to finish off our album.
